AIBA Case study 2: Leveraging AI for Book Writing – Transcript
00:00:00
Beata Mosór: Hi guys and girls. My name is Beata Mosór and today I’d like to introduce you a short case study about how to write a book about your framework using AI. Uh if you are a scientist, a researcher and you have your the results of your research or the results of your work uh your frame or your methodology that do you like to introduce uh to to you know the broader audience and you wish to write a book an article anything about that you can use uh this process and this video will be useful for you especially uh So this video is created under the cooperation with AIBA conference that will happen uh in October in Poland in Katowice and I’m the media partner of this event of this conference. Uh here you can find the 20% of the discounts for the conference for AIBA. Uh and if you use the code uh AIBA 2025_mosor20 uh you can uh not only grab the tickets with the discount but also uh grab some free consultation with me. So uh it’s worth it to to check it out.
00:01:27
Beata Mosór: Here you can find uh at circmodel.com you can find the details of the media partnership that uh I have with them and you can find also the previous video that was uh delivered that was uh recorded by me under this partnership uh how to better understand your customer based on research using AI. So I introduce how I use AI to speed up the customer research process based on very complex automotive industry industry case study and uh you can find there not only the video recording of the case study but the model that I’m using uh for the framework that I designed the canvases for the research and all of the materials that is needed to you know to to do your research with AI faster and more efficient on a very complex markets. Today uh we we will have this video about the turning your knowledge into a book in just a week in 40 hours. Uh but next video uh in September will be about uh create uh videos for your business using simple AI tools. So here if you will scan the code or go to circmodel.com you can see the uh see the details of this partnership and all of the videos that are already delivered and planned.
00:02:50
Beata Mosór: Um and today I’d like to showcase you how to write a book about your framework about your methodology about the result results of your research using AI. And obviously if you are a scientist you encounter the problem of not write not having time to write uh as a researcher scientist you are know deeply into your research uh you are uh uh working with students probably and you do not have to do time to do that. So I I’d like to show showcase you how you can do that very efficiently, very fast based on the scientific based process that will help you to do that more efficiently. Why I’m doing that? Um I can see that there is a lot of books uh without the scientific background uh and people are publishing books about things that are really like not worth publishing and there’s a lot of books that are popping up on the market. Uh so I’d like to encourage you as a scientist, as a lecturer, as a researcher to if you have your own frameworks or own uh research results, you should publish that and and this process can help you to do that very efficiently.
00:04:12
Beata Mosór: Why I’m telling that uh I will come back to this slide. So my experience is coming from from the technology. I I used to work uh with the technology since 2006 I believe I started uh I have also 10 years of experience mentor as a lecturer and worked with uh with more than uh 10 uh more than thousand tech products and services. Um cooperated with big techs but also smaller companies, scaleups, startups. Uh here you can find all of the details uh that are coming uh from my experience uh and also you can find the contact details. So here is my email, my LinkedIn profile, X profile, Instagram and YouTube where you can find another videos about the the business strategy research AI in education and AI in economy. Uh that’s that’s the plan. uh so uh uh why I’m telling that about uh I’m registering this video today. So first of all uh I’d like to showcase you that the entire process of writing a book about methodology about your research result could take less than 40 hours uh with the research process.
00:05:36
Beata Mosór: So problem gathering with solution gathering and with the images generation material promo materials generation and writing the entire content for your paper for your book. Uh why problem gathering here in this case study was very important. So I’m I’m will showcase you uh the book pro the book writing process uh on the case study of the uh ebook that I wrote for mentors in the mentor the mentor process in middle size city and uh this city particularly uh encountered the problem of huge violence among teenagers and I worked with with mentors to help them to address those problems. s and we were in the very v vulnerable moment where a couple of days before we started working together uh there were uh like the murder in the city. So one teenager killed the another teenager and we try to like we try to discuss why does it happen uh why uh what we can do as mentors to help those teenagers to to understand their problems better how we can address that and what is the part of the mentoring process what we can address but obviously what is not so what we should put into the the pro the therapeutic process or the work with psychologists.
00:07:09
Beata Mosór: So here the problem was immediate uh to address and mentoring was one of the solutions that could be used. uh but uh problem gathering and understanding why in this particular city uh such a problem is uh is so huge and how we can help uh as mentors and how particular I can help with delivering best possible uh mentoring materials for mentors uh was crucial in this in this process. So uh for the um problem gathering uh I used the linux research process. So uh we uh splitted the target group the mentors into workshops uh that were uh very like short but very efficient. The structure of the workshops uh you can see here. So the overseas start with the uh introduction with agenda with goal with rules then with the opening question about the problems that uh uh they as mentor encounter in in their work with uh young leaders uh with teenagers in this location. And uh they had the space for first sharing their problems that they can they can observe. Then they had the space 45 minutes for sharing their personal experience about the solutions that they are using and for the discussion about that between mentors.
00:08:48
Beata Mosór: And then during the second part uh of the of the uh of the workshop uh I showcase them the toolbox the framework for work as a mentor that is uh scientific base that is based on research that I prepared before the workshop but I obviously updated that after the second uh sec after the first part of the workshop. So I not only was prepared to to showcase them like ready solutions but then while they uh shared their personal experience I also fulfill this toolbox with new uh materials with new uh uh solutions that could be used in their particular context. Uh why does it work? Uh there are a couple of uh of uh ingredients elements that make uh make such a process work. So first of all we work at in small groups in linux process that’s crucial. So uh in lean ux research you are splitting uh your target group during the research process into groups that are up to 14 people. Uh so the the uh process is very efficient and obviously we we use that in qualitative research.
00:10:10
Beata Mosór: So the research workshop is is that the is the form of the qualitative research. Uh but then we created the atmosphere of open discussion of trust of sharing their experience that was uh very very uh important. Then open questions about problems uh that led them to tell everything that they wanted. uh but then as a facilitator in each group I summarize that and paraphrase not only problems but also uh solutions. So uh I was uh able to understand them deeply, understand them uh like on a on many levels and uh obviously during this process I also use other terminology that uh would be understandable by AI that is scientific base that is rooted into the s could be rooted into the sources. So uh uh as you can probably assume and I will tell about that later on. I use some uh tools for video and voice recording. So AI then can analyze all of the recordings all of the materials from workshops. And then uh why I uh introduce tools and frameworks uh based on my experience I also gather some solutions from mentors.
00:11:39
Beata Mosór: So it was like very broad because uh it was not based only on my experience as as a mentor but also on experience all of the mentors in the in the room in all of the research groups. Uh this framework is is based on Linux principles and as you can see here uh all of the things that I I introduced shortly on the previous slide you can you can see them here. So here small uh small groups for research for work uh then shar understanding focusing on problems uh removing waste of time everything that here is included. What was important here is that we had the team of people who represented not only mentors uh but also the team of the organizers so people who coordinated men mentors and also mentees. So we had the representation of the teenagers in the room also. So u uh those uh research uh those rules those principles make the research very very uh efficient and as I design as I designed the workshop I also used the linux canva not all not all of that as you can see here because we had a small uh batches of time three hours for each uh research workshop Uh but then you can see here we gathered information about the problems about the target groups uh about the ideas for the solutions that they had uh about the benefits that that could be achieved by those solutions and about our outcomes and we gathered all of the hypothesis about the sources of the
00:13:29
Beata Mosór: problems. So here let’s say 60% of the Canva Lean UX Canvas was addressed during such workshops and gathered uh into the uh into the one framework that uh led us to summarize not only problems but solutions uh personas hypothesis um all of that in in very efficient form as I already mentioned all of those research workshop jobs was uh uh recorded uh with the AI toolbox. So I use Fireflies.ai uh solution here to register all of the workshops and uh I do not have to tell you probably but I will that AI models are best based on the video recording. So if you have any chance to record your uh workshops, record your materials, record your lectures, do that because then you can use that to train your models and to uh prepare better material uh teaching materials uh better lectures uh better uh books papers that will that will help you. So that was the first part. So the research problem gathering and solution gathering and then I did some deep research for the research I used Gemini advanced uh solution and here you can see that I train the model uh with all of the materials that I had not only materials coming from the workshop so presentation video recordings recording notes paper materials but also uh I up trained uh uh Google Gemini 2.5, Gemini Advanced with my framework
00:15:25
Beata Mosór: with uh the materials around uh uh mentoring process that I introduced uh in my like uh in my articles uh in my blog post in my videos. Uh I also uh added the my mentoring canvas as my framework for mentoring but also materials on my website on my blog uh describing the process describing the uh the potential solution that could be used. Uh I also obtain that with uh IDI interviews uh with uh uh in-depth interviews uh that was recorded with Fireflies AI. And here as you can see there are some like problems gathering uh but also for solution uh I I did the same uh job here. I uh also um independently up train the model with the results in the Google AI studio. And you can see here I put the all of the materials I show you but also my presentation about mentoring that I I gave in the uh in the past uh slides uh all of the lectures that I gave in this topic uh my mirrorboards for mentoring. So uh here you can see that uh I use those two tools and why I did that I will I will tell that in in just a couple of minutes.
00:16:58
Beata Mosór: Then I did uh I split the research process into phases. So I didn’t all of the materials uh I didn’t do all of the materials at once. So first I up train the the the model with uh problems all of the materials around the pro problems and and do did some research uh using Google deep research tool about problems. Then in the second part I up train that with potential solutions and materials around solutions. again of of that around the solution that we we gathered and I asked the model to do their research about the uh the solutions using only particular sources so using scientific based solutions mentoring uh toolbox that is scientifically verified uh etc etc then I uprain model uh with my solar my framework for mentoring my materials and uh uh asked to do the additional research uh about my particular methodology of work based on my uh papers, publication articles, videos that are public but also I obtained it with with this materials here and finally uh I obtained that with the results of uh of work here and so it as you can see it was done in a circular mode uh in the phases uh that led us to do that efficiently okay so but book without images uh couldn’t exist uh so uh I use uh free tools for image generation fears is uh the most obvious the easiest one there’s a low code no code tool canva.com you probably know that.
00:19:05
Beata Mosór: So for all of the marketing materials around the book, for some uh real uh for the cover uh for um videos I use Canva that was the easiest one I believe. Then for some uh charts uh for infographics for uh visualization of the result of the research I use Google research and the Canvas mode. Uh so there are uh infographic modes but also websites. So all of the marketing materials uh but also visualizations for the book uh came from uh Google deep research in terms of charts in terms of you know visualization of the results for for the toolbox you can you can use uh uh Germany uh app and then for creative u uh image generation I up train the gemini imagine for a model and use that to to generate some uh images that was uh fulfilling the book with uh uh with uh images with the small ones. No, but what about the book content? So uh here uh I use also germanminine.google.com uh google.com and so based on all of those gather materials I I asked to summarize that to write particular chapters on particular topics and so the main content was created in Germany advance but for some creative work from the other hand uh so uh for for example for u uh scenarios of particular meetings between mentor and mentee for uh some uh scenarios of creative uh creative
00:21:02
Beata Mosór: work uh uh between them. Uh I use AI studio uh by Google. So as you can see here I splitted those two uh those two tools how and why. So first of all we need to understand that Geminina advance is the tool that is uh uh done for uh researchers and analyzes uh research and analyzis process uh so uh you can it’s best for for the research for uh text generation obviously uh as a summary of the research you can obviously generate some code but those are mostly code for websites for visualization of the research results. You can use canvases there to uh you know to uh um easily present the results of your work. Uh but also we can use some text generation for uh podcast that will that will showcase the the uh research you’ve done. Uh but then for creative work, for image generation, video generation, for some creative uh uh ideas, for scenarios, uh for uh such works, uh Google AI studio is better and you can find them not only Gemini uh models but also uh models for image generation or for video generation as you can see here.
00:22:32
Beata Mosór: So for image generation, imag for example for um video generation viewer uh two now were free but back in the days when I created this book it was poetry where two the entire process so problems uh problem gathering then solution gathering then research analyszis of that then putting that into the into the book uh making the the cover marketing material websites ites uh uh and uh voice recordings for that. So all of that took less than 40 hours. Okay. So that’s all for today. If you have any questions around the book creations, about your frameworks, about your scientific work for your papers, you can uh catch me at AIBA conference uh in October in Katawice in Poland. Uh I’m the media partner there. So you can you can grab a code here and buy a ticket with 20% of the discount and uh you can find the schedule uh for another videos around the this media partnership of the circmodel.com uh website but also you can see my videos on uh customer research process and my models and Canva for for customer research uh there. So I encourage you to check out the the website. I’m Vietnam Mos. I’m the founder of circmodel.com and I use my CIRC model for uh business models but also and frameworks but also for AI models uh uh uh work. My experience coming mostly from tech.
